Jean Peacock

Jean Peacock is primarily an oil painter. She has exhibited in 10 one woman exhibitions, the most recent, December-January 2008 at The Peninsula Fine Arts Center, Newport News, Virginia. Her painting described by Michael Preble, Director of Exhibition at PFAC:  “Jean Peacock’s encaustic paintings are many things at once – lyrical, daring, rhythmic, bold, humorous, sentimental and audacious. Peacock obviously loves color and all manner of line, shape and form. Her works have a freshness and sense of joy, accomplishment in style and skill in a medium that offers some very unique challenges.”
