WCAC’s Thirteenth Annual High School Student Show will be
January
12 - February 19, 2016
Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center’s
Annual High School Student Art Show is
held each January and is open to students
from the Greater Williamsburg Area High
Schools including Bruton, Lafayette,
Jamestown,
Warhill, Walsingham Academy,
Williamsburg Christian Academy and Providence Classical School.
Each Fall students are invited
to submit artwork to the Art Department
at their school for inclusion in this show.
All high school students and home-schooled
students living in the WJCC & Bruton
School Districts are eligible to submit
art even if they are not currently enrolled
in an art class. In mid-December, teachers from each school select the art
to be included in the show. Prizes are
awarded by a guest Judge at a special Reception & Awards
Ceremony held for students and their families
on the first Wednesday following the opening
of the show.
