Lynn Trott PotteryNovember 8 – December 22, 2011 |

My pottery is based on observations of the flow and contrast of natural line and form in plants, flame and stone. Primary artistic influences have been medieval book illuminations, Celtic knot designs, Old Japanese Tamba pottery, and the designs of the Art Nouveau and Modernist periods. I keep returning to the clay sculptures of Ruth Duckworth, the bronzes of Alphonse Mucha, the stone sculptures of Jean Arp, the paintings of Paul Klee, and the pottery of George Ohr.
