RJ Clark has exhibited extensively since 2006 including five exhibits at the Contemporary Art Center of Virginia, two shows at the Peninsula Art Center in Newport News, and two shows at the Charles Taylor Art Center in Hampton. His work has received numerous awards and his paintings have sold in Virginia, North Carolina, Connecticut, Georgia, Texas and New York. His work has been published in various magazines, including the Artists Magazine, and Direct Magazine.

Artist's Statement:
In this exhibit you will find some of the work I've completed over the last 6 years (or so). The work ranges from oil paintings to constructions, to drawings. Over my 40 years of making art my work has gone from acrylic painting, to drawings (in ink and then pencil), to watercolor, to oil and back to drawing in pencil. Recently I have tended toward more complicated constructions which combine painting and drawing with built up, decorated frames.
