Lynn Ferris
Watercolor Artist

Anna, br Lynn FerrisOriginally from New Jersey, Lynn Ferris studied at Moore College of Art and worked as a commercial illustrator before beginning a full time career as a watercolorist.

Lynn is a signature member of both the National Watercolor Society and Florida Watercolor Society. Her work has been cover art on "The Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association", was the subject of a feature article in "Watercolor" magazine, will be included in "Splash 12", published by North Light, and is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Daytona Beach, FL.Harlequin, by Lynn Ferris

Among her many awards are the "Best of Show" at both the 2007 Florida Watercolor Society Annual Exhibit and the 2010 Tallahassee Watercolor Society Tri-State Juried Exhibit. In addition to being a painter, Lynn is also an instructor, teaching classes and workshops nationally, including The Museum of Florida Art, The Loveland Museum of Art, and Dillman's Creative Arts Foundation. She was one of the featured presenters at the Florida Watercolor Society Annual Convention in 2010, and will be again featured in 2011.
