Patricia Rapoport is a watercolor artist in the Williamsburg area. Through use of intense color and flowing washes, Patricia tries to create dreamlike scenes of peace and harmony. Usually, her paintings are based on scenes drawn from travel, but the paintings become a bit removed from reality as they begin to take shape. Patricia likes to paint the same scene many times over, and each time the scene changes and seems to tell a different story.

Patricia received a B.A. from Colby College and an M.A. from the University of Michigan. She lives in Williamsburg with her husband and two daughters.
