The 2006 Annual Members' Show opened on June 19th with an Awards Ceremony and Reception for TCAG Members. This year's show had 103 Artists representing a multitude of mediums. Our judge, Professor Linda Carey, visiting Professor in the Art/Art History Department at the College of William & Mary, announced the twelve prize winners, commenting on each artist's work and why she chose that particular piece. The Jean K. Walker Awards of Excellence for Best in Show, 2nd & 3rd Places, were presented by Sue Romans, Margaret Wright and Suzzie Brooks, three of the volunteer docents who served with Jean Walker in the 1960s and early 1970s.
